P‐55: A LCD Supplied by High Integrated Dual‐Side Dual‐Output Switched‐Capacitor Regulator with Only Two Flying Capacitors

Abstract: This paper presents a high integrated dual-side dual-output (DSDO) switched-capacitor (SC) regulator with only two flying capacitors. Generally, a dual-phase voltage doubler and an inverter are used to supply positive and negative voltage for TFT-LCD gate drivers, respectively. Four flying capacitors, eight pinouts, and sixteen power switches are necessary for their operations in the driver integrated chip (IC). The proposed DSDO SC regulator combines both dual-phase voltage doubler and inverter converter into… Show more

“…That is, the correct the polarity reversion operation [6] can be assured to strengthen the driving capability. The FSSBSC circuit can generate the different kinds of voltage levels to achieve the gray-color control scheme through the switched-capacitor structure [7] in column driving to realize the high quality driving scheme for Ch-LCD. It is achieve through the sequential signals V C1 to V Cn derived from the voltage levels between V P1 to V Pk .…”
