P‐98: A Novel Dynamic Resolution Improvement Method for Surface‐Conduction Electron‐Emitter Display

Abstract

A novel dynamic resolution improvement method for surface‐conduction electron‐emitter display (SED) has been proposed in this paper. By alternating the polarity of control voltage, the landing positions of the emission electrons on the phosphor plate can be controlled. This helps to accomplish a double dynamic resolution on the conventional electron emission cell array.
