Abstract: Background/Aims  Hydroxychloroquine (HCQ), a frequently-used therapy in rheumatology, can be associated with retinal toxicity. More stringent screening and monitoring guidelines for HCQ-related retinopathy were published by the Royal College of Ophthalmologists (RCOphth) in 2018.
