P1109hdx: Is It a Better Way to Dialyse?

Abstract: Background and Aims Inadequate dialysis has been linked to reduced quality of life, increased symptom burden and increased risk of cardiovascular illness in patients with chronic kidney disease. This is especially significant in long-term haemodialysis patients who have little to no residual urine output and are thus almost entirely dependent on good quality dialysis to remove toxins and fluid.
