Abstract: Recent experimental and theoretical results in area of liquid crystal (LC) aligning coatings are described. Parameters of the organosilicon compounds (OC) films for LC alignment have been realized that allow their application in the LCD. Green and cheap OC synthesis technologies have been developed.
