Abstract:The most common congenital anomaly of thyroglossal duct is a thyroglossal duct cyst, but carcinoma arising from a thyroglossal duct cyst is a rare phenomenon. Carcinomas involving thyroglossal duct cysts are mostly papillary carcinomas.
