Parametric optimization for maximization of MRR in WEDM of D2 steel material

Abstract: The present work is planned to optimize the material removal rate (MRR) in wire electrical discharge machining (WEDM) of D2 tool steel. Machining parameters namely pulse on time, pulse off-time, voltage gap and wire feed have been chosen for the present investigation to perform experimental runs.
