Passengers’ Intentions to Use Public Transport during the COVID-19 Pandemic: A Case Study of Bangkok and Jakarta

Abstract: Several problems have arisen due to the COVID-19 pandemic, particularly in the public transportation sector. Data from 2021 show that the number of bus passengers in Bangkok has decreased by 40–60% below normal conditions, and the number of bus passengers in Jakarta has decreased by around 76% compared to June 2019.
