Passive Consumers, Vulnerabilities and Public Policies

Abstract: In this paper we examine a "new" source of consumer vulnerability: the "secondary" consumption of harmful "micro" addictive products and the "primary" consumption of certain "macro" products that are the byproducts of our postindustrial civilization.
