Abstract:In recent years, transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDs) have been widely used as saturable absorbers (SAs) in ultrafast fiber lasers. Among them, we have chosen manganese sulfide (MnS), also a type of TMD, for its small bandgap and excellent nonlinear optical properties.
