“…Intermediate vision is becoming more important in the modern world thanks to everyday tasks such as the use of computers and tablets, playing sports, viewing the speedometer in a car, and walking on uneven surfaces. [23][24][25][26][27] To target this unmet need of patients with monofocal cataract, we have introduced a new refractive IOL technology that is designed to improve intermediate vision compared to the standard aspheric monofocal IOLs.
