Pattern effect suppression of pulse signals based on pre-signal control method

Abstract:By using the pre-signal light as the control light, we propose a method to suppress the transient effect of erbium-doped fiber amplifiers for low-frequency pulse signals. The pattern effect of the pulse signals within the low frequency range (400–1000 Hz) and 1550 nm band is relieved, and the optical surge coefficient Cs decreases to about 0.54 dB.
