Pattern Reproduction In Two Cultures

Abstract: The study examines pattern reproduction in Scottish and Bukusu samples at four age levels using a modified version of the PATCO test. An error analysis provided support for the view that the cognitive processes underlying pattern reproduction are universal. Significant cultural differences in the frequency of orientation errors were found.
