Abstract:Grape (Vitis L.) is one of the most economically valuable fruit crops in the world. The molecular basis for high genetic diversity and genetic differentiation thus conferring broad adaptability in the Vitis genus remains elusive. Genetic patterns in Vitis were comprehensively characterized by resequencing of 6862 nuclear SNPs in this study. Nucleotide diversity (π=0.0073), genetic differentiation (pairwise differences, 0.24) and SNP variation in Vitis species were relatively high compared to most woody plant s… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
