PCBM synthesis using photoflow strategy

Abstract

In this study, photo-flow synthesis was investigated to develop a more efficient synthesis of [6,6]-phenyl-C61-butyric acid methyl ester (PCBM). High chemical yields were achieved via photoirradiation during heating. In addition, continuous production was confirmed using large-volume flow units, and high chemical yields and productivity were achieved.
