Pearls and pitfalls: Two contrasting HIV diagnoses in the COVID‐19 era and the case for screening

Abstract: The risk of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID‐19) for people living with HIV (PLWH) is poorly understood. The vast majority of reported cases of COVID‐19/HIV co‐infection consists of those with an established HIV diagnosis who are on anti‐retroviral therapy (ART).
