Abstract:Hyperglycemia is a symptom and damaging factor of diabetes mellitus (DM) that leads to systemic complications in the body, including macro- and microangiopathies of the brain, impaired blood supply, the appearance of foci of neurodegeneration and might be a trigger of neuroinflammation.
