Abstract:Pediatric liver transplantation is a fast-growing and challenging field. Healthcare providers must stay informed of advancements in the management of liver transplant candidates and recipients. The goal of this paper is to provide nurses who care for pediatric liver transplant candidates and recipients with a review of the basic medical management of these patients, from the preoperative evaluation to postoperative care.
