“Peer-to-Peer Plus” Electricity Transaction within Community of Active Energy Agents Regarding Distribution Network Constraints

Abstract: This paper proposes the concept “active energy agent (AEA)” to characterize the autonomous and interactive entities of power system. The future distribution network is a peer-to-peer (P2P) community based on numbers of AEAs. A two-stage “P2P Plus” mechanism is developed to address the electricity transaction within AEA community.
