This study aims to describe the application of the numbered head together learning method as well as the inhibiting and supporting factors in PAI subjects. This research is descriptive qualitative research. Sources of data were obtained through interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis using data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The data obtained were checked for validity by extending the participation and triangulation of sources and methods. The results of the research show that the application of the numbered head together learning method is that the educator separates students into groups and each group is numbered then the educator asks questions for each group and asks each student to discuss it with their fellow group mates and the last step the educator calls one of the group numbers to respond to the questions he asks. In addition, it was found that the inhibiting factor was that some students joked during the activity, while the supporters were the availability of facilities owned by SMPN 5 Pamekasan.
