<p style="text-align: justify;">Digital puzzle worksheet (DPW) is innovative teaching material designed using open-source software such as Canva and Liveworksheets. Subsequently, puzzle games in the form of questions can improve problem-solving skills by engaging in metacognitive processes. This research used a case study method to describe the impact of applying the DPW to identify the metacognition levels of students through the assignment of contextual maths problems. The source of informants was third-grade elementary school students in West Java, Indonesia. Test instruments, observation sheets, and interviews were used, while data analysis adopted an iterative model. Furthermore, the method and time triangulation increased confidence in the resulting conclusions. The results showed that male students were at the metacognitive level of ‘strategic use’ and ‘aware use’ for females, based on the characteristics of the observed metacognitive level. The most prominent feature was identifying and determining problem-solving strategies with metacognitive awareness. The reaction of students to the DPW improved problem-solving abilities, expanded conceptual understanding, and enhanced digital technology competence. Therefore, this experience was applied when solving contextual mathematical problem assignments.</p>

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran Proyeksi Gerak pada Pembelajaran Boga Dasar (2) Hasil Belajar Siswa Tidak Menggunakan Media Proyeksi Gerak Pada mata kuliah dasar memasak; (3) Pengaruh penggunaan media proyeksi gerak terhadap hasil belajar sembako. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen semu. Tempat penelitian adalah di SMK Gelora Jaya Nusantara Medan Populasi Dalam penelitian ini, seluruh siswa kelas X jasa boga SMK SMK Gelora Jaya Nusantara Medan, teknik sampling Sampel diambil secara acak sehingga total sampel adalah 30 siswa. Waktu penelitian desember 2022. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah data deskriptif, pengujian Uji tren, normalitas, dan homogenitas digunakan untuk menguji persyaratan analisis data, dan uji "t" digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis. Berdasarkan hasil temuan menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kecenderungan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran boga dasar dengan menggunakan media proyeksi gerak berada pada taraf tinggi sebesar 88,57%. Tingkat kecenderungan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran boga dasar tanpa menggunakan media gerak proyeksi termasuk dalam kategori cukup sebesar 68,57%. Hasil analisis uji-t menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media proyeksi gerak pada mata kuliah dasar memasak mempengaruhi hasil belajar siswa hitung > tabel (3,981 > 1,690) dengan taraf signifikansi 5%. Ini berarti bahwa menggunakan media gerak yang diproyeksikan dapat mempengaruhi Hasil Pembelajaran boga dasar.

Beginning counting ability is an important basic ability for students to be able to answer and understand further mathematical problems, including the introduction of numbers and basic mathematical concepts. The problem discussed here is an attempt to change the conventional teaching method (lecture) at the beginning counting learning stage towards a learning approach that can better facilitate children's learning needs and create meaningful learning. This study aims to analyze the application of the Sorogan method assisted by graded student worksheets (LKS) in stimulating student’s counting skills in Calistung class. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with a case study approach. This research was conducted involving Calistung B class students consisting of 5 children as research subjects. The research techniques used were observation, interview, and documentation. The results showed that the Sorogan method assisted by graded worksheets was able to make a positive contribution in stimulating student’s beginning counting skills. Components such as initial apperception, practice problems, discussion, and reflection applied in Sorogan learning activities play an important role in supporting the formation of deep understanding. The student-centered learning process of the Sorogan method, which prioritizes a focus on exploring aspects of individuality, supported by the use of graded worksheets, gradually helps students understand numeracy concepts, thus becoming the foundation for the continuous development of numeracy skills. This method can be an alternative for educators to improve the quality of learning early counting.
