Percutaneous Mitral Balloon Valvuloplasty: Technique and Results

Abstract: Background: Percutaneous balloon mitral valvuloplasty is a procedure used to dilate the mitral valve in cases of rheumatic mitral stenosis. The catheter is inserted into the female vein to the right atrium and atrial septum.
