Abstract:This work presents the performance analysis of ring resonator-based tuneable optical filters, namely the influence of the design parameters such as coupling coefficient (k), coupler loss coefficient (a) and operating temperature (t) on the optical performance of the filter. Computed results have shown that a and k dramatically influences the performance of the add-drop filter, the operating temperature can effectively be used as a mechanism of selecting the desired frequencies within the dynamic range of the f… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
