Abstract:This paper studies the performance of the communication link between a ground station and the satellites of a LEO constellation, employing code division multiplexing and a non-linear high-power amplifier. The analysis shows that the input power selection at the high-power amplifier of the ground station has a significant impact on overall system performance.
