Performance characteristics of a quantitative PCR assay on repository stool specimens and smeared filter-paper cards

Abstract: Objective Stool repositories are a valuable resource for retrospective analyses including quantitative PCR assays to distinguish between asymptomatic shedding and clinical disease.
