Performance Comparison and Optimization of 16V265H Diesel Engine Fueled with Biodiesel Based on Miller Cycle

Abstract: This paper introduces the theoretical basis and optimization method of diesel engine working process theory. By comparing two Miller cycle schemes of B20 biodiesel under different load conditions of 1000 rpm (100%, 75%, and 50%), the best Miller cycle scheme and the best Miller degree were found. Then, based on the Miller cycle scheme, its performance was optimized and analyzed, and the best intake timing scheme of the B20 biodiesel engine under different working conditions was obtained. The results show that … Show more

“…In recent years, energy shortages and environmental pollution have become the focus of the world's attention [58,59]. Vigorously promoting energy conservation and emission reduction, low energy consumption, and low emissions marked by sustainable development [60][61][62] are becoming the common choices of all countries in the world.…”

“…With the increasingly severe global energy and environmental problems [1,2], the development of pure electric vehicles with no fuel consumption and zero emissions is one of the effective solutions to meet the environmental protection requirements in the field of transportation [3]. For purely electric vehicles, braking energy feedback technology is the key to improving their endurance performance [4,5].…”
