Abstract:Energy harvesting cognitive radio has been considered as a promising technology in the fifth generation (5G) of wireless networks to solve the lack of spectrum and energy. In this paper, a novel wireless energy harvesting relay network is proposed for a multiuser cognitive radio to obtain the maximum throughput and decrease the false alarm and misdetection probabilities. The secondary user (SU) can harvest energy from solar sources while utilizing the licensed spectrum of the primary user (PU). Cooperative spe… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
