Abstract:This paper characterizes the performance of adaptive filters positioned after the FM-discriminator for minimum-shift keyed (MSK) signals received in multipath environments. Previous work presented a new receiver architecture based on equalizing the signal after the FM discriminator, rather than before it. Simulation results using measurements recorded from actual multipath channels showed superior performance for some channels when compared to a more traditional CMA pre-discriminator equalizer. A recent theore… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
