Abstract:This study reports on a single side band spectrum directly generated by a continuous phase modulation (CPM) signal. This signal is analyzed in terms of modulation indices, pulse lengths, and pulse widths, all of which affect error probabilities, bandwidths, and SSB property. The error probability performance is based on an approximation of the minimum Euclidean distance.
