Though lung carcinoma is the most common cause of malignant pericardial effusion; however, sporadic cases of cardio pericardial metastasis from PTC have also been reported . In female patients, the spectrum of papillary carcinoma with pericardial metastasis is more extensive, and one can add the possibilities of papillary serous carcinoma of the ovary, uterus, and peritoneum to the thyroid and lung primaries .…”
