Periods and Mode Shapes for Uniform Shear Wall Buildings: Importance of Selecting the Appropriate Dynamic Behavior

Abstract: The distribution of seismic loading to each storey of a building depends on a number of factors, mainly on the periods, mode shapes and modal participation.
