Abstract:Perioperative hypersensitivity reactions vary from mild to potentially fatal anaphylaxis, resulting in significant morbidity and mortality. Most of the perioperative hypersensitivity and allergic reactions are attributed to antibiotics, antiseptic solutions, latex, and opioids.
