Perioperative Management for Rectal Migration of a Ventriculoperitoneal Shunt

Abstract: Background: While ventriculoperitoneal shunt (VPS) is the most commonly performed surgical procedure for treating hydrocephalus, complications following shunt placement are associated with a high mortality rate.
