Abstract: ObjectivesLower esophageal sphincter achalasia is associated with a higher risk of aspiration during anesthesia. Endoluminal Functional Lumen Imaging Probe (EndoFLIP) is used as an adjunctive tool in both the diagnosis and treatment of achalasia, for which all children require anesthesia.
