Perioperative myocardial infarction during coronary artery bypass grafting. The main approaches to diagnosis and prevention

Abstract: The incidence of perioperative complications, including perioperative myocardial damage and infarction, remains high with the increasing number of coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) performed worldwide. These conditions are predictors of poor prognosis in the postoperative period. Therefore, it is relevant to develop strict diagnostic criteria for these conditions and to search for optimal preventive measures.Cardioprotection is used at all stages of patient management in the perioperative period after CAB… Show more

“…Our data is supported also by researches of other authors. [14][15][16] The risk of complications development in case of CABG increases if the AIM has been presented in anamnesis, an intraoperative connection of intra-aortic balloon counterpulsation has been conducted; the artificial circulation has been used for more than 120 min, and aortic compression has been introduced for more than 90 min. 12 We have got data opposite 17 to the one declared by Nadeem et al and Ortiz et al that length of the artifi cial circulation period and aortic compression time are the predictors of postoperative complications development in cardiac surgical patients.…”

“…С целью обеспечения кардиопротекции на предоперационном этапе целесообразна оптимизация медикаментозной терапии, коррекция факторов риска и коморбидной патологии [9]. Имеются данные об эффективности мероприятий по преабилитации с позиции оптимизации течения послеоперационного периода: снижения частоты развития осложнений и сокращения сроков пребывания пациентов в стационаре и отделении интенсивной терапии [10].…”
