Peripheral arterial obstructive disease

Abstract

I found the experience we had at the Miguel Couto hospital very useful; we could closely follow how the daily routine of a doctor in a reference hospital works; we witnessed the difficulties patients have to follow the proper treatment, due to lack of resources and many times even cultural and/or educational. We saw how important preventive medicine and close monitoring is, so that we can reduce the serious consequences arising from vascular diseases.
