Peripheral IV Insulin Infusion Infiltration Presenting as “Insulin Resistance”

Abstract: Objective We present the case of a 66-year-old woman who developed hypoglycemia following the prolonged infiltration of a high dose continuous peripheral intravenous insulin infusion.
