Peronealsehnenpathologien

Abstract: ZusammenfassungPeronealsehnenpathologien sind selten, jedoch häufig unterdiagnostiziert. Show more

“…The PLT can be used as a suitable autograft [8, 22]. As there are considerable differences in PLT length and diameter across individuals [20, 32], the ability to preoperatively predict the diameter and length of the intraoperative PLT autografts would be valuable.…”

“…The peroneal tendon is an important component for maintaining ankle joint stability. Following dislocation, the peroneal tendon fails to adequately support the stability of the ankle joint, resulting in lateral ankle instability, tendon rupture, degeneration, tendon pathology, and the development of complications such as chronic pain 3 . These issues can negatively impact walking, running, and other daily activities.…”

“…Following dislocation, the peroneal tendon fails to adequately support the stability of the ankle joint, resulting in lateral ankle instability, tendon rupture, degeneration, tendon pathology, and the development of complications such as chronic pain. 3 These issues can negatively impact walking, running, and other daily activities. Additionally, misdiagnosis of acute PTD can lead to chronic cases as surgical specialists may focus more on treating fractures or sprains and overlook tendon‐related problems.…”
