PERSonality, Ehical, and PROfessional Quality of Life in Pediatric/Adult Intensive Nurses Study: PERSEPRO PAIN Study

Abstract: Background Burnout syndrome (BOS) is emotional exhaustion that reduces both professional quality of life (QOL) and satisfaction derived from work. The World Health Organization (WHO) included BOS criteria in its 11th Revision of the International Classification of Diseases (ICD-11) in 2019 and nursing bodies have issued calls to action to prevent BOS.
