-The pharmaceutical industry is one of the most competitive businesses in the world. Supply chain in this industry has been directed towards the production of large batches to avoid lack of supplies, and the achievement of regulatory requirements, at the cost of high level of inventory, higher costs and inventory write-off due to expiration or other reasons. In recent years this industry is facing major changes and challenges such as intense globalization processes, increased competition and innovations in technologies, which has broadened and deepened risks in supply chain. The paper reports the results of the study of the risk in distribution processes of Slovenian pharmaceutical companies, which was conducted among five companies and aims to draw attention to risks that arise in supply chain, to emphasize the importance of their management and to present a model for an effective assessment of risk in companies, developed at the Faculty of Logistics.

Abstract-This paper provide an overview of the analysis and implementation Multi-Attribute Decision Making (MADM) for food selection or food choice. Food choice aim to find the solution on lack of food. Food choice can be doing with diversification. Food diversification aims to find best choice of food alternatives. Food alternative is rice, corn, cassava, potato, sago, sorghum, wheat, and analog rice. The method used is Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) and Weighted Product (WP). The use of this method is expected to help and provide the best decision in food choice. Alternative on MADM as data training, alternative on SAW method and alternative on WP method as data testing. Experimental result on SAW method, best alternative (highest value) is wheat with value 0.8833. On WP method, best alternative (highest value) is wheat with value 0.1563. On SAW method and WP method, decision is the same with wheat as best alternative in MADM on food choice.

Energy is one of the key elements of economies. The maintenance of daily economic activities would not be possible without assurance of energy security, which is also a critical contributor to sustainable energy. The European Union (EU) strives to protect the energy security of its members in order to prevent supply problems or crises. The main purpose of our analysis is to evaluate the energy security of EU countries by analyzing their performance, productivity, and relationship with economic growth. Using hybrid and comparative MCDM and Malmquist productivity approaches, we assess the static and dynamic energy security performance of the EU countries in the period from 2014 to 2018. We use IDOCRIW‐weighted SAW, MARCOS, and CODAS techniques for static performance measurement and the Malmquist productivity approach for dynamic performance evaluation. Considering both static and dynamic performance among developed EU countries, Denmark is found to be superior. Further, the Malmquist productivity index results indicate a slight improvement for developed countries and deterioration for developing countries. According to the panel data analysis, energy security is a factor that leads to economic growth. Consequently, energy efficiency initiatives such as efficiency action plans, hybrid and electric vehicles, and energy storage advancements play crucial roles in enhancing the EU's energy security.
