Abstract:Imiquimod, an imidazoquinoline compound, has been widely-recognized for its ability to induce both innate and adaptive immune responses. Topical imiquimod has been approved for the treatment of actinic keratoses (AK), external genital warts (EGW), and superficial basal cell carcinoma (BCC).
