Phase composition of heat-insulating materials prepared from carbon-containing wastes

Abstract: The use of carbon containing wastes from the fuel energy industry in ceramic masses facilitates the production of heat insulating materials with low thermal conductivity. Mullite, anorthite, and wollasto nite are formed in the composition of ceramics upon kilning, and they enhance the physicomechanical prop erties of the products.
