Abstract:Diluting the precious metal to be used for catalysis with an abundant and non‐precious metal to form alloy/intermetallic nanostructures is of great interest owing to the cost‐effectiveness of the catalyst. The physicochemical properties of such bimetallic nanostructures are influenced by the atomic ordering of different atoms in the system, generally enhancing the catalytic activity, selectivity, and durability compared to their monometallic counterparts. To understand the relationship between the structure an… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
