Phase Equilibrium Properties of Binary Systems (Furfural + Ethanol or Butan-2-ol) at Several Temperatures

Abstract: The vapor pressures of the binary mixtures (furfural + ethanol) and (furfural + butan-2-ol) along with the pure component ethanol were measured using the static apparatus for VLE measurements (static device) between temperatures of 283 and 363 K. The generated results from this work were correlated using semi-empirical correlations as described by the Antoine equation.
