Abstract:Introduction. The pandemic of the new coronavirus infection COVID-19 (Coronavirus Disease 2019) was caused by a single-stranded RNA virus SARS-CoV-2 (Severe acute respiratory syndrome-related coronavirus 2). Molnupiravir is an antiviral drug with activity against RNA viruses including SARS-CoV-2.
