“…3, there is a twinned phase that was determined to be the ternary Al 20 Mn 2 Ce phase; significantly, it is isomorphous to other stable phases commonly found in Al-TM-RE systems (where TM stands for transition metals and RE for rare earths). Recently, this phase was reported for the first time for the Al-Mn-Ce system by Gordillo and collaborators [40]. This phase is cubic with the Fd-3 m space group and a lattice parameter of $14.49 A; in the current system, it is metastable and decomposes upon certain heat treatments.…”
