Phenotypes of Streptococcus mutans isolates in sound and cavitated tooth surfaces and its relationship to early childhood caries in China

Abstract: Background To compare the phenotypes of Streptococcus mutans (S. mutans ) strains isolated from sites with different caries susceptibility of a single subject.
