Abstract:Polysiloxanes are known to significantly enhance the toughness and thermal stability of epoxy resins. However, unsatisfactory grafting or copolymerization often occurs due to compatibility issues between the two materials, resulting in noticeable phase separation and a significant reduction in strength.
