Phonon-Induced Dephasing of Optically Driven Exciton States in Quantum Dots: Spectral Interpretation

Abstract: We discuss phonon-induced perturbation of optically driven coherent dynamics of a confined exciton in a quantum dot in terms of nonlinear spectra of the driving pulse. Damping of pulse-area-dependent Rabi oscillations and phonon-assisted pumping of optically inactive states are analyzed.
