Abstract: The single‐molecule localization concept MINFLUX has triggered a reevaluation of the features of fluorophores for attaining nanometer‐scale resolution. MINFLUX nanoscopy benefits from temporally controlled fluorescence (“on”/“off”) photoswitching.
